Managing your Live Session
Your session is set up, so it's time to get on the field and begin! These steps will run you through how to manage before and during your session.
When your session is set up, you will see a session overview screen with a countdown to the session start time. Before your session begins, follow these steps so you're ready for the start time.
- Turn on your EDGE Units and wait for them to link to GPS.
- Turn on your Gateway by sliding the switch down to the on position (middle).
- Place your Gateway in the tripod with clamp, on the sideline of the pitch at the centre-point or half-way line.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Gateway should have LEDs facing TOWARDS the field, with USB-C port at the BOTTOM. - Wait for the Gateway to link to the session and network. The light on the Bluetooth indicator will turn 🟢Green and you will see a ⚡ Lightning Bolt Icon on your EDGE Units.
- You can now place the EDGE Units into the players' vests and begin your session.
- TRAINING SESSIONS ONLY: Once your session is underway, you can create segments to split up the session drill-by-drill, via the segments tab. (see Live Session Segments guide).
- Once your session is complete, with all devices still turned on, bring your units and gateway together and allow for all data to collect and update in the app.
