      How to set your starting squad

      How to set your starting squad and what it means for your data

      1.  Open your playerdata app and go to the match session you want to set a starting squad for
      2. Swipe along the top bar to 'EVENTS'
      3. Select the button the timeline 'SET STARTING SQUAD' 
      4. A drop down will appear of all athletes in the session for you to select the starting squad
      5. Once complete , tap "DONE" to save your changes.
      6. You will now be able to see your starting squad marked in athlete selectors and on positional maps like average player position.

       

       

      A key thing to note is that once you mark an athlete as not being in the starting squad, the system will not process any data for them until you substitute that player on via the match events screen. 

      The player will show as having no data even if you've synced EDGE data and assigned it to them until you do this
