Creating a Survey

Creating your survey 

1. Open the PlayerData App and tap the Settings icon in the bottom right corner.

2. Tap Survey Set Up to view your survey homepage. Tap Create New Survey and select Start from Scratch.

3.  Enter a name for your survey (e.g., "Training Review") and then tap Add Questions.
   

Building Custom Questions

1. You will see the option to select pre made questions or you can tap 'Create Questions' to create your own questions.

2. You will see a list of options to create a question from

   • Free Text

   • Single Option Select

   • Numeric Range (e.g., 1–10)

   • Numeric

   • Multiple Choice

3. Type in your question and select your scales/answer options. 
4. Once you have created your custom questions, tap the questions you would like to include into your survey and then tap 'Add Selected'. 
   
   

Distributing your Survey

1. On your survey screen you will now see an option to set a schedule for your survey. Select the  date and time for the survey to go live, set it to repeat on specific days, and select specific athletes.

2. If you don’t wish to schedule it yet, tap Save at the bottom of the screen to keep it in your library.

3. When you are ready to distribute your survey you can do this from the home page of the app. Tap the green plus button and tap 'Send survey'. 
4. Choose the survey you want to send, select the date/time and the athletes, then tap Send. the Athletes will receive a push notification as soon as the survey is sent out.

Notes

• Once a survey has been sent to athletes, it cannot be edited. If you need to change a survey that has already been sent, use the Duplicate feature to create a copy, make your amendments, and send the new version.

• You can archive old surveys from the survey screen. Once a survey is archived it cannot be recovered.
