Edge Management 

EDGE Management lets you name and pre-assign each EDGE unit to a specific athlete. Once assigned, the app will automatically select that unit when a player is added to any future sessions you create. 

To Access Edge Management 

1. Open the PlayerData mobile app and tap  Settings. Then select EDGE Management  from the settings menu.

2. Make sure your EDGE units are turned on, nearby, and that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

3. You will see a list of all your EDGE units, displaying their current initials and numbers.

Assigning Athletes and Naming Edge units

1. To assign and name a unit, tap the green dropdown arrow next to the unit name.

2. Enter the initials and number you would like to set for the unit.

3. Next, tap the athlete dropdown box and select the athlete you would like to assign.

4. Repeat this process for each unit you would like to name and assign.

5. Once you’re happy with your changes, tap Confirm Edge Units  at the bottom of the screen.

6. The app will process the unit name change and athlete assignment to complete the update.

7. Once completed, the next time you create a session, those units will be automatically pre-selected for the assigned athletes.
   
   

Note:
To remove any assignment already on a unit, tap the red minus button next to the athlete name.
