Data Cutting tool 

The Data Clipping feature allows you to remove any data from your session.

The Data Clipping feature allows you to remove any unwanted data directly from an athlete's speed trace. Clipping permanently removes the selected timeframe from the athlete's specific session data, ensuring your metrics and segment reports remain accurate.

How to clip Session Data 
Enter Data Clipping Mode
  1. Open the session you would like to clip data from on the web app.
  2. Click Segments located on the top navigation bar and click Create Segments.
  3. On the segments page, along the top tab and click the Scissor Icon to enter data clipping mode.
 Clipping Data from a Speed Trace
  1. Locate the specific player's speed trace you want to clip.
  2. Press and hold the Command (Cmd) key on Mac (or Control (Ctrl) on Windows).
  3. While holding the key, click and drag your mouse over the specific section of the speed trace you want to remove.
  4. A red box will appear to highlight the selected area, and a box showing the exact clipped timeframe will appear in the top right corner.

Note: This section of data will be completely removed from the athlete's session data once saved.

Removing  Unwanted Clips
  • If you need to remove a clip you just made, navigate to the sidebar listing the clip timings.
  • Click the X icon next to the timestamp to delete the clip and restore that section of data.
Exiting Clipping Mode
  1. To exit data clipping mode, press the X icon located where the scissor icon was previously.
  2. You will be redirected back to the original segment screen.
  3. The player's speed trace for the clipped-out section will now be removed.
Note: You may need to refresh your screen to see the updated changes visualised.
